Daniel grew up in Cooma NSW with a population of around 7,000. Daniel excelled at tennis, but was limited by opportunity.
As a junior he was mentored and coached by ACT National coach Todd Larkin and was the number 1 player in his home town at the age of 15. Daniel travelled around Australia for 3 years, where he coached kids in various tennis centres including the Pat Cash International Tennis Academy on the Gold Coast.
Daniel played in various tournaments around Australia for almost 3 years until he landed in the Territory where he has been for the last 10 years. Daniel initially worked as a coach at the Gardens Tennis Complex however, then moved to the Palmerston Tennis Centre where he took over the local tennis coaching & started his business Palmerston Tennis Pro. Daniel has coached in Palmerston for 9 years and continues to campaign to get better tennis facilities for the Palmerston area.
